In January 2003 Catalyst Corby launched its £4 billion Regeneration Framework for Corby. The Regeneration Framework will deliver a bold and confident new Corby for the 21st century with a vibrant town centre where people will want to shop, work, visit, live and do business
As part of this strategy, the town centre will undergo radical transformation to become an active and vibrant new heart for Corby, containing an extended range of cultural, retail, residential and entertainment activities, including state of the art public services promoting learning, culture, community and civic pride. The transformation will take place within a distinctive setting of attractive new buildings and public realm
There is now sufficient certainty regarding a number of key elements of the Parkland Gateway that a first phase of design and construction delivery can commence. This project is known as Parkland Gateway Phase 1a comprising the design and construction of the New Corby Swimming Pool
As well as providing much needed facilities for the residents of Corby, the development will create a new swimming pool with leisure facilities to the town as a whole and building confidence in the regeneration of Corby
